Standard 18000-OHSAS (Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series) is an European standard that qualifies a company as responsible in the implementation of the European principles of occupational health and safety for their employees, and sets the requirements for the management occupational health and safety system. This standard defines the organizational structure, planning activities, responsibilities, practices, procedures and resources for developing, implementing, achieving, reviewing and maintaining the occupational health and safety.
With the implementation of this standard, the company acquires the trust of stakeholders, assuring them that the leadership is set to fulfill the requirements of the occupational health and safety policies, and the emphasis is on prevention rather than corrective measures, and that is possible to provide evidence that the OHSAS refers to the entire organization, not just the processes for which there are no legal regulations or zones of large risks, and that OHSAS-concept is included in a process of continuous improvement.
The introduction of this standard is a lengthy process that requires knowledge of the principles and policy objectives of OHS, determining risk, planning, development and implementation of health care employees, and knowledge of specific documentation to be done in this field and its application in the implementation of OHSAS systems.
Note: Our agency does not perform certification itself but provides assistance in the preparation of the necessary documentation for the OHS and assistance in the implementation of OHSAS system to obtain the required sertfifikat.
